Your Adventure

Time in both the city we dub ‘Latitude with Attitude’ combined with a circumnavigation of Iceland staying in ScanSpecial style hotels (ones with a touch of character and style about them) for a holiday that’s an adventure.

Stay in the Nordica Hotel, a ScanSuperior hotel with a very special blend of elegance and local atmosphere, soak yourself in Laugar Spa and enjoy dinner by the harbour in style.

Around the Island

Your circumnavigation tour comes with an exclusive road guide detailing just about everything there is to see and do on your journey round the island, a GPS so you can’t get lost and more importantly can’t miss the things you’ll want to see. You’ll get to meet and have dinner with a local family, go whale watching in Husavik and ride a 5 gaited Icelandic horse.

The Nordica

From the moment you step into the huge marble floored lobby with its understated elegance to the point where your head touches the red (fire), grey black (lava) and white ( ice) pillows you know you’ve hit on a class act. Few hotels pull off the blend bewteen local atmosphere and elegance but the Nordica most decidely does, which is presumably why so many of the world’s A list stay here without talking about it. Amongst other amenities the rooms have private WC/bath/shower, mini bar, telephone/voice mail, hair dryer, Coffee and Tea set & window blinds. Beyond that you can upgrade to either a Guest Plus or Executive room, the latter with access to a private lounge and the hotel’s spa.
